THE GREEN ENERGY REVOLUTION
“One of Eisenhower’s enduring achievements was championing and signing the bill that authorized the Interstate Highway System in 1956. He justified the project through the Federal Aid Highway Act of 1956 as essential to American security during the Cold War. It was believed that large cities would be targets in a possible future war, and the highways were designed to evacuate them and allow the military to move in. Eisenhower’s goal to create improved highways was influenced by his involvement in the U.S. Army’s 1919 Transcontinental Motor Convoy. He was assigned as an observer for the mission, which involved sending a convoy of U.S. Army vehicles coast to coast. His subsequent experience with German autobahns during World War II convinced him of the benefits of an Interstate Highway System. Noticing the improved ability to move logistics throughout the country, he thought an Interstate Highway System in the U.S. would not only be beneficial for military operations, but be the building block for continued economic growth.”
Now in 2011 we need leadership that will create a USA & world economy that is not a slave to OPEC and the rising Gasoline Prices. The USA has no choice but to become as energy independent as possible or risk being at the mercy of rogue oil producing nations around the world.
Lets think about it some of the major oil producing countries:
IRAN - an extreme theocratic dictorship on the path to develop nuclear weapons, the ultimate extinction of Israel, supporting organizations like (Hamas, Mahdi Army, Hezbollah, Al Asqa Martyrs Brigade, Revolutionary Guard), with an unemployment rate over 50%
RUSSIA - recent events in Georgia are a perfect display of intentions from the Russian Govn. A country that has nationalized all major resource companies within Russia and stamping out private enterprise. Stifling any and all democratic processes and imprisoning any opponents to the current regime.
SUDAN - a radical Islamist govn. openly engaging in genocide of its own people in the province of Dafur.
MEXICO - a nation with emense natural resources, realestate, tourism, and 1st world status potential but is still listed as a 3rd world nation due to unmeasurable corruption, narco production, internal narco civil war, and exodus of population fleeing poverty.
VENEZUELA - a once prosperous democratic nation has now become a Socialist Dictatorship under the current regime. All major private enterprise expelled from the country to be replace by nationalization of industry. Increased ties with Iran and Russia, along with major military build up and support of borderline radical anti-government forces in neighboring countries.
IRAQ - a nation for over 30 ruled by the brutal dictator, Saddam Hussein, now replaced by a building but still extremely fragile govn. A nation that is currently occupied by foreign forces and still undergoing civil strife.
SAUDI ARABIA - an extreme Islamic religious dictatorship that supports the Wahhabist doctrine and tolerates the abuse and degredation of women, the recruiting of terrorists within its borders, and the teaching of extreme Islamist philosophies within its country. Also a country where the majority of the 911 Hijackers came from.
LIBYA – currently a nation plunged into a bloody civil war. even though the US does not receive oil from LIBYA, our allies in Europe do depend on the Libyan oil production. If oil sky rockets in Europe it can equally hurt the European economy just as it can hurt the American economy. Since our economies are linked by strong trade relations, if one economy is hurt by rising fuel then in this global economy we are all hurt.

My friends these are just a few of the countries and governments the world supports by purchasing their drug. The drug of cheap oil, up until 1 year ago. Imagine going to buy your groceries from a store run by criminals, or bank your money with an establishment run by bank robbers, or sending your children to a school run by child molestors. It just does not make any sense and is dangerous.
Each step America and democratic nations take towards renewable, internally produced energy that is a step further away from supporting the nefarious countries that produce the worlds oil.
In America we need to employ a strategy that includes all aspects of Renewable, Clean Energy based on the permitting resources available in specific geographic locations. Examples being Solar Fields covering the Southwest or Wind Farms aligning the entire Midwest Corridor.
GREEN ENERGY SOLUTIONS
SOLAR POWER - employed especially in states such as CA, AZ, NV, UT, TX, CO, OK, KA, FL, NM, HI
Imagine Death Valley or other major valleys in the Southwest acting like a radio telescopes but
instead the entire valley is covered in Solar Fields
- All federal, state, and local government buildings must install solar rooftops, solar pane windows
- All major coporate buildings must also install solar rooftops and solar pane windows
- All major retail properties such as malls, shopping plazas, and strip malls must install solar rooftops
- All major community developments and apt or condo units must incorporate solar as part of a sustainable community
WIND POWER - employed especially in states such as WA-Coast, OR-Coast, Nor CA-Coast, Mid-West Corridor from ND to TX,
MA-Coast, RI-Coast, ME-Coast
All coastlines across the Northwest & Northeast of continental US must instal Wind Farms - All farmers across the Mid-West corridor must be given tax incentives to install Wind Farms aligning their properties - All major high rise or skyscraper corporate buildings should be given tax incentives to install windmills on roofs. - Great Lakes in Northern Mid West should have Wind Farms installed along shorelines.
TIDAL POWER - employed in all states with coastline or states with rivers or lakes within its borders.
All major ports and ship inlets should have tidal generators installed. - Rivers such as the Colorado, Mississippi, Rio Grande, etc.. should all have tidal generators installed.
ALGAE POWER - employed in all US states.
Due to the current high cost per yield of biofuel from algae, the solution is not to create a sole massive production facility, but to plant seeds across the country. Currently the US Military is looking into implementing usage of algae biofuel in its vehicles. Monopolies do not produce lower costs, competition in the market place does. As a nation we need to promote the creation of algae fuel production in all regions of the country.
